What's tested

Our Food & Environmental Allergy Test uses Immunoglobulin E (IgE) testing to measure your body’s immune response to specific allergens. IgE is a type of antibody associated with allergic reactions. By analysing the levels of allergen-specific IgE in your blood, this test identifies how your immune system reacts to 117 different items.

Reactivity is measured by analysing the levels of allergen-specific IgE antibodies in your blood, presented as quantitative measurements in IU/mL. Each allergen is assigned a reactivity marker, ranging from Class 0 (No Reactivity) to Class 6 (Severe Reactivity). The results are also colour-coded, making it simple to identify high-priority allergens and understand your body’s immune response at a glance.
